2. How We Use Personal Information

We may use personal information to provide and operate car-wash services; establish, administer, bill, and renew memberships; identify eligible vehicles and record wash usage; process payments and prevent unauthorized transactions; provide customer support; deliver requested promotions or offers; send operational messages; send marketing communications when permitted; maintain, analyze, secure, and improve our website, equipment, services, and customer experience; detect fraud, misuse, and security incidents; keep business and tax records; enforce agreements; comply with law; and establish or defend legal claims.

We may combine information collected through different interactions when reasonably necessary for these purposes. We may also use aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.

3. How We Disclose Personal Information

We may disclose personal information to service providers and contractors that perform services on our behalf, including payment processing, membership administration, point-of-sale systems, vehicle recognition, website hosting, analytics, security, communications, customer support, professional services, and data storage. These providers may use personal information only as permitted by their contracts and applicable law.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process; to protect the rights, safety, property, or security of Bubble, our customers, or others; in connection with an actual or proposed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction; or at your direction or with your consent.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16. To the extent a website analytics or advertising practice is treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable California law, you may request to opt out using the contact methods in Section 12. We will honor legally recognized browser-based opt-out preference signals when required and when we can detect and apply them.

4. Mobile Information and SMS Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

If you opt in to receive text messages, Bubble may send recurring automated promotional and personalized marketing messages, such as wash offers, membership promotions, service updates, and related announcements, at the telephone number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP. After you send STOP, we may send one confirmation message and will then stop marketing texts to that number unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact us using Section 12. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We may retain opt-in and opt-out records to document your choices and comply with law.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Our website may use cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies for essential operation, security, analytics, performance measurement, and remembering preferences. These technologies may collect device and internet-activity information. Some are provided by third parties, such as website hosting, analytics, or communications providers. You can adjust browser settings to refuse or delete cookies, although doing so may affect website functionality. Where applicable, we also honor legally required opt-out preference signals.

6. Payment Processing

Payments and recurring membership charges may be processed by third-party payment processors. Those processors receive the payment and billing information needed to complete the transaction and handle it under their own privacy notices and security practices. Bubble generally receives transaction confirmations, limited card details such as card type and last four digits, and billing or account status rather than full payment-card credentials.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including providing services, maintaining memberships, honoring marketing preferences, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, complying with legal, accounting, and tax obligations, and enforcing agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type and sensitivity of the information, the reason it was collected, operational needs, and applicable legal requirements. We may retain deidentified or aggregated information for longer periods where permitted by law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting any account credentials and for notifying us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account or payment method.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website and services are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

10. Your Choices

Email marketing. You may unsubscribe from promotional email using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional communications about an active membership, transaction, request, or service issue.

Text marketing. Reply STOP to opt out of marketing texts and HELP for assistance. We may send a final confirmation after an opt-out request.

Account and contact information. You may ask us to update certain account or contact information by contacting us. We may need to verify your identity before making changes.

11. California Privacy Rights

To the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (CCPA), applies to Bubble or to particular information, California residents may have the right to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected about them; the categories of sources, purposes, and recipients; deletion of certain personal information; correction of inaccurate personal information; opt-out of sale or sharing; limitation of certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information; and non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights, subject to legal exceptions.

You may submit a request by emailing [email protected], calling (310) 616-6288, or writing to the address in Section 12. Please describe the right you wish to exercise and provide information reasonably necessary to identify your records. We may verify your request by matching information you provide with information already maintained by us. We will use verification information only for that purpose. If we cannot verify a request, we may be unable to fulfill it.

An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may ask you to verify your identity or confirm that you authorized the request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. If we deny a request, we will explain the basis when required.

California’s Shine the Light law permits certain residents to request information about disclosure of personal information to third parties for those parties’ direct-marketing purposes. As stated above, we do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. You may direct any Shine the Light inquiry to [email protected].
